The durag is a staple in black beauty for both men & women. It is a piece of fabric that has become so focal in current fashion and Rihanna rocks it proudly. The styling for this shoot is so on point. The stylist Edward Enninful states on Instagram, “

The May 2020 issue of @BritishVogue portrays @BadGalRiri for a new decade – non-conforming, authoritative and exuding style.

He featured designers like Maison Margiela and Rick Owens who are known for pieces that be can appear very unisex. Using structured pieces and mixing them with more form-fitting pieces is so amazing to me and something that I use in my personal style today. Rihanna has always been able to step outside of boundaries that normal standards stand by. Let’s use this cover to show that the culture is taking steps and breaking boundaries that most people wouldn’t think we would.

So if you haven’t been living under a rock you would have noticed the incline of brand Telfar Global’s presence via Instagram. Not only are all the “it” influencers rocking their super cute shopping bags, but by them being so affordable literally EVERYONE is copping a Telfar bag. The name “Bushwick Birkin” comes from the rise of the scene in the area of Brooklyn named Bushwick, where a lot of younger creative individuals live, purchasing the bag. With stores like Opening Ceremony bringing more hype to the bag by having them for sale in-store. Influencers like the Clermont Twins to an artist like Rico Nasty showcasing the many ways to rock the bag. Telfar Global has brought us the new universal bag for the new season. The brand themselves are NY based and very inclusive to who they work with. We need more brands that are closed-minded to the different shapes, sizes, and colors here in society today. Make sure to hop to www.shop.telfar.com to grab your bag ASAP.
