Neon yellow, volt, slime, frozen yellow, are just some of the names used to describe this trend.

From clothing, shoes and even hair! I’m curious: do you guys think we’re bringing neon into 2019?

I say bring it! And for those who can pull it off.... SLAYYYYYYYYYYYY.

One of the BEST fashion moments in 2018 🙌🏾

The Banned Catsuit 😻

IMG_8960.JPG

While others referred to it as a “superhero” costume, WE saw it for what it was, a Nike bodysuit. Not only did the president of the French Tennis Federation try to ban it, they made the assumption that Serena Williams was trying to make a “mockery” out the game 🥎 .

Not only did she WIN that game. She now gets custom tennis outfit designs from Off-White and they also came up with a solution to the apparent catsuit “issue”:  ‘And in its revised rules for 2019, the Women's Tennis Association announced that "leggings and mid-thigh-length compression shorts may be worn with or without a skirt, shorts, or dress" on the court.’

Fashion has no rules! Because her body is amazing, she does look more voluptuous in it! And she shouldn’t be faulted for that because she is talented and a woman who doesn’t back down.

This fashion moment made me proud. The French Open will never be the same.

Yasssss Serena!

Dollar Bills Down The Runway 💵

“Redefining the American currency by commodifying its value in an alchemistic system of dress” - Kota Okuda

As featured on Vogue Runway, designer Kota Okuda has taken money and actually invested into his fashion designs: LITERALLY.

As seen on the Clermont Sisters:

He expanded his vision to not fit the standard of what ‘fashion’ is today. We see the value of money as expendable, materialistic, a hot commodity that just needs to be temporarily had and then spent.

Okuda poses the question: would you spend money on money?

What’s important to you? What if fashion was money. Wouldn’t you just use it to make MORE money?
