AMAs Got Us SHOOK!

The AMAs 2018 is one I will NEVER forget. Why you ask? Three words. TRACEE ELLIS ROSS. Not only is she beautiful and talented, but she represents black culture and shows that through her actions as well as in her choices for fashion!

For the 2018 American Music Awards, Ms. Ross wore all black designers for each of her outfit changes.

According to Tracee, this was a message towards racial inclusivity, in collaboration with her stylist Karla Welch.

Her statement by wearing pieces by black designers that night made me feel empowered. I felt like this what the fashion world needed and that this is truly a message, especially to all the fashion lovers out there.

We should support the creativity in everyone but ESPECIALLY in black culture.

Thank you Ms. Ross 👏🏾

Can you say SOLD OUT!! Cardi B x Fashion Nova

IMG_1273.JPG

As we know Fashion Nova has grown into one of the most popular places to shop in 2018. As we also know, Cardi B's career has taken off in 2018 as well. So of course it made sense for Fashion Nova & Cardi to collaborate. Last week they release that collaboration and sold out immediately! All 82 pieces were gone in minutes.

Now I love Fashion Nova, and with the popularity of Cardi B, I knew that the line would do well. There was mix of Cardi B's personality with the Fashion Nova price point. They gave so many versatile looks, from fur coats to classy two piece sets, with popping vibrant colors.

I look forward to a rerelease and to actually getting my hands on at least one piece!

Congratulations to Cardi B on a great collaboration.

Clermont Twins Shutdown NYFW

Hello Hello! So the twins have broken my hiatus and for great reason. Many know that New York Fashion Week (NYFW) just ended, and the looks that were served this season were amazing but I am dedicating a post to the Shannon and Shannade because those are my girls. Fashion week is a time for all the fashion lovers to come together and be in a area of freedom, even though shade is still thrown. Shannon and Shannade come through serving looks in Laquan Smith, Teflar Global and much more. So as some know the twins have been going through some legal things recently but that didn’t stop them from showing up and showing out. Check out a few of their looks below:

They have not let what the media and the many people with negative comments about their lifestyle or history bring them down. They came and conquered once again. I hope to be able to work with these girls and just sit and talk with them to get a better understanding of what really goes through the mind of the Clermont Twins. Let these women show you that regardless what is being said about you NEVER stop being your complete self and always POP OUT! Let my girls live, PERIOD!
